Texas A&M University: Non-Athlete College Students May Be Less Likely to Contract COVID-19 Than Young Adults in the General Population

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Feb. 22 (TNSJou) -- Texas A&M University issued the following news on Feb. 21, 2022:

Texas A&M School of Public Health researchers co-authored a recent commentary that extends on previous research about COVID-19 and college athletics.

Not only are student athletes less likely to contract COVID-19 than the rest of the student population, non-athlete students are in turn less likely to become sick with the virus than young adults in the gen . . .
