RALEIGH, North Carolina, Feb. 19 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following news:
The N.C. Republican Party applauds the leadership in the General Assembly for their diligent work to approve remedial maps under the extraordinarily tight deadline given by the N.C. Supreme Court.
These maps fully comply with the guidelines listed in the Court's order as well as address their brand new doctrine of 'partisan fairness.'
