PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Feb. 18 (TNSRes) -- The Center for Responsible Lending issued the following news release:
After State Senator Ana Quezada and cosponsors introduced S2166 last week, a bill that would cap payday loans at 36% annually by repealing authorization for their triple-digit annual interest rates, the Center for Responsible Lending, The Economic Progress Institute and Capital Good Fund released a poll showing broad support for such a measure.
