Sen. Brown Encourages Agriculture Producers to Sign Up for Agriculture Risk and Price Loss Coverage Programs

WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that agriculture producers have until March 15, 2022 to enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2022 crop year. Meanwhile, producers who enrolled farms for the 2020 crop year have started receiving more than $1.8 billion in payments for covered commodities which were triggered under such programs.
