WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Feb. 17, 2022:
Last night, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed U.S. Senator Joe Manchin's (D-WV) Health Care for Burn Pit Veterans Act, which provides healthcare for Veterans exposed to burn pits during deployments to the Middle East and Afghanistan. Senator Manchin, member of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee (SVAC), also introduced similar legislation last year.
