WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Feb. 17, 2022:
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted to fund the federal government through March 11th, 2022.
"Avoiding a federal government shutdown in the middle of a pandemic and agreeing to a reasonable budget must continue to be our top priority.
"Tonight I voted for a short-term federal budget extension through March 11th to keep the government ope . . .
