U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, Anthony G. Brown, Jamie Raskin, and David Trone (all D-Md.) urged the Maryland Department of Labor to apply for a new program funded by the American Rescue Plan to improve the state's unemployment insurance system, in the wake of the severe delays . . .
