Sen. Tillis, Banking Republicans to Boycott Committee Meeting Over Unresolved Questions

WASHINGTON, Feb. 16 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Feb. 15, 2022:
U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) and his Republican colleagues on the Senate Banking Committee will boycott the scheduled markup in light of Sarah Bloom Raskin's evasive and unconvincing responses to numerous committee questions. Ms. Raskin is currently under consideration for the role of Vice Chairman for Supervision of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
