New Jersey American Water Invests $1 Million in Scotch Plains Infrastructure

CAMDEN, New Jersey, Feb. 16 -- New Jersey American Water, a water and wastewater company, issued the following news release:

New Jersey American Water will replace approximately 2,500 feet of aging water main in Scotch Plains starting next week. The project also includes replacing seven fire hydrants and 40 utility-owned service lines along the pipeline route. The company will upgrade the aging 6-inch cast iron water lines that were installed in the 1920s with new 8- and 12-inch duc . . .
