WASHINGTON, Feb. 16 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release on Feb. 15, 2022:
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) and his Senate Finance Committee Republican colleagues are asking the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) for detailed information on the harmful effects inflation has on the federal budget, given the high and accelerating inflation the U.S. is currently experiencing. As inflation continues to hammer pocketbooks of Americans, it also eats up fiscal space . . .
