WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Feb. 14, 2022:
Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has sponsored H.R. 6564, the Keep Schools Open Act.
The legislation would prevent federal education funds from being provided to an educational agency or institution unless the educational agency or institution provides in-person instruction to students.
The bill was originally introduced by Rep. Mark Green (R-TN).
