TOPEKA, Kansas, Feb. 12 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Yesterday, the Kansas House Committee on Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications passed a near-unanimous resolution denouncing the price gouging and market manipulation from last February's cold snap that raised the cost of natural gas by nearly 200 times the normal rate, and calling for investigations into these increases.
