- University of Nebraska: Bob Phares Becomes Board of Regents Chair for 2022

LINCOLN, Nebraska, Feb. 12 (TNSPer) -- The University of Nebraska issued the following news release on Feb. 11, 2022:

Regent Bob Phares of North Platte, representing District 7 on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents, today assumed the role of chairman of the Board after serving as vice chairman in 2021.

Regent Tim Clare of Lincoln, representing District 1, was elected vice chairman of the Board. Clare will become chair in 2023 in accordance with Board policy.
