BOSTON, Massachusetts, Feb. 11 (TNSPol) -- The 350.org issued the following news release on Feb. 10, 2022:
The Poty Guarani Indigenous Association, with 350.org and other organizations, overturned the project of the largest Brazilian open-pit coal mine, which would be built in the Porto Alegre Region.
On February 9, a federal court in Rio Grande do Sul state revoked the environmental licensing process of the Guaiba coal mine, planned to be built in the Porto Alegre Regi . . .
