WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 -- Rep. Don Beyer, D-Virginia, issued the following statement on Feb. 3, 2022:

"We applaud the administration for sticking to its clear and time-constrained human rights conditions on military assistance for Egypt and reprogramming all $130 million in suspended aid--just as we had urged. While the Egyptians released a few high-profile political prisoners, they clearly did not satisfy the full list of requirements provided by the administrat . . .
