WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) and a number of bipartisan colleagues have introduced legislation to better combat online child sexual exploitation. The Eliminating Abusive and Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies Act (EARN IT Act) removes blanket immunity for violations of laws related to online child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
