WASHINGTON, Jan. 29 -- Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, issued the following news release on Jan. 28, 2022:

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced today the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) will award $1,994,812 to the City of Jackson in Breathitt County for updates and improvements to the Jackson Water Treatment Plant. Senator McConnell supported this grant through a letter to the ARC Commissioner.
