WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 -- Rep. Jake LaTurner, R-Kansas, issued the following news release on Jan. 26, 2022:
The Kansas Delegation led by Sen. Moran, urged President Biden to make a disaster declaration for the State of Kansas following the severe wind storm and fires that occurred last month. The Kansas Division of Emergency Management formally submitted the request for federal support on Monday.
