WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 (TNSPol) -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release on Jan. 26, 2022:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed the firing of a Wyoming sheriff's deputy over reported racist harassment targeting a Black co-worker.
CAIR also expressed support for efforts to remove a Confederate monument in Orangeburg Co., S.C.
