WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Rep. Don Beyer, D-Virginia, chairman of the Joint Economic Committee, issued the following news on Jan. 26, 2022:
On Thursday, the Joint Economic Committee, led by Congressman Don Beyer (D-VA), released a new report examining the economy- and society-wide benefits of closing the Medicaid coverage gap. In 11 states that have not expanded Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act, 2.2 million workers who earn above their state's Medicaid eligibility threshold . . .
