TRENTON, New Jersey, Jan. 19 -- Gov. Phil Murphy, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on Jan. 18, 2022:
Governor Phil Murphy today signed legislation (S4021/A6100 and S3764/A3369) that will ensure that the contributions, history, and heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) are included in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Social Studies for students in kindergarten through Grade 12. S4021 will create an AAPI curriculum requirement for schools . . .
