Mich. Gov. Whitmer Announces Winner of 2022 State of the State Art Contest

LANSING, Michigan, Jan. 19 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on Jan. 18, 2022:

Governor Gretchen Whitmer today announced the winner of the 2022 State of the State art contest is Grace Murtha of Hemlock Middle School. The governor selected the winner from five student finalists out of nearly 800 students who submitted their artwork from around the state. The winning art piece will be featured on the 2022 State of the State program cover.
