WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH), along with Senators Chris Coons (D-DE), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) applauded the finalization of the Tropical Forest Conservation Act (TFCA) agreement between the U.S. Government and the Republic of El Salvador. This bilateral agreement will redirect approximately $20 million in concessional debt owed by El Salvador to a conservation fund over a period of 10 years. . . .
