WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Virginia, issued the following statement:

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has denied an appeal of its original decision not to provide Individual Assistance in the wake of flooding that afflicted the community of Hurley in August 2021. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement.
"FEMA's decision indicates that the agency is out of touch with the suffering ex . . .
