DAWSON, Georgia, Jan. 15 -- Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr., D-Georgia, issued the following news release:
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) applauded the recent award of a $264,008 U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Decentralized Water Systems Grant to the Golden Triangle Resource Conservation and Development Area, Inc. The organization will be contributing $29,351 of its own funds to the project. Altogether, the $293,359 will be used for its ongoing revolving loan fun . . .
