Congresswoman Kathy Manning (NC-06) joined House Democrats in passing H.R. 5746, the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act, to protect access to the ballot box for millions of Americans. Nineteen states enacted 34 new laws that restrict voting in 2021 alone. Passed just days before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, this bill will help ensure that voters can freely cast their ball . . .
