WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 -- Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr., D-Georgia, issued the following news release on Jan. 13, 2022:
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) voted to pass the Freedom to Vote John R. Lewis Act, a bill that would safeguard voter registration and ballot box access as well as election security. It would also protect against partisan gerrymandering and promote campaign finance reform.
