Michigan State University economist Lisa D. Cook has been elected to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
It's one of 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks that along with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., conducts the nation's monetary policy with the purpose of maintaining stability in the nation . . .
