At a press conference today, Ron DeSantis devoted time to floating a conspiracy theory that the FBI was involved in "orchestrating" the January 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol. DeSantis' claim has been debunked by numerous fact checkers, and is an attack on the law enforcement officials who have helped hold the violent extremists who stormed the Capitol accountable.
