WASHINGTON, Jan. 5 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release on Jan. 4, 2022:

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) made a friendly wager with Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) before tonight's Texas Bowl matchup between the Louisiana State University Tigers and the Kansas State University Wildcats.
