WASHINGTON, Jan. 5 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release on Jan. 4, 2022:

U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) and Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-KS) placed a friendly wager ahead of tonight's Texas Bowl matchup between the Louisiana State University Tigers and Kansas State University Wildcats.

When the Tigers win, Senator Cassidy will receive Kansas steaks from Senator Marshall.
