HONOLULU, Hawaii, Dec. 27 (TNSRes) -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:
An effort to advance a global network of SMART seafloor cables and develop early warning systems for tsunamis and earthquakes around Vanuatu and New Caledonia is being led by the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The international team received support of more than $7 million from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
