WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 -- Sen. Raphael G. Warnock, D-Georgia, issued the following news release on Dec. 23, 2021:
U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, celebrated the White House's nomination of Nancy Gbana Abudu as a judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. If confirmed, Ms. Abudu would become the first Black woman to sit on the bench for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
