WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded a $75,000 grant to the Washington County Career Center (WCCC) for the WCCC's Upgrade the HVAC Project. WCCC will enroll 25 workers/trainees and 36 students in the training program and help 24 workers/trainees and 33 students improve their skills by completing the program.
