Sen. Brown Announces $6M for Electric Infrastructure in Logan County

WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded a $6 million Rural Development Investment loan to the Logan County Electrical Co-op in Bellefontaine. The funds will be used to build and improve 41 miles of powerlines that will help connect 269 consumers. This loan also includes $1,710,269 in smart grid technologies.
