WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Dec. 16, 2021:
U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) issued the following statement after the Biden Administration withdrew from settlement talks for payouts to illegal immigrants:
"This is a positive step," said Senator Tillis. "It is unconscionable that the Biden Administration would have considered this astronomical payout that was an insult to all hardworking Ame . . .
