Sen. Marshall Urges Biden Administration to List Potash and Phosphate as Critical Minerals Amidst Severe Fertilizer Shortage

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 -- Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. wrote a letter to U.S. Geological Survey Acting Director Dave Applegate urging him not to remove potash from the U.S. Geological Survey, Department of the Interior 2021 List of Critical Minerals and to add phosphate as a critical mineral. The letter says in part,
"We write to you to strongly urge you not to remove potash from the U.S. Geologica . . .
