WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, issued the following opening remarks in a hybrid roundtable discussion on Nov. 30. 2021, entitled "FedRAMP Reform: Recommendations to Reduce Burden, Enhance Security and Address Inefficiencies in the Government Cloud Authorization Process".

The FedRAMP is the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
