WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- Rep. Robert E. Latta, R-Ohio, issued the following news release on Dec. 8, 2021:

Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) and Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA9) introduced the Halt Lethal Trafficking (HALT) Fentanyl Act. Currently, fentanyl and fentanyl related substances (FRS) temporarily fall under Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) due to a temporary scheduling order that runs through February 18th, 2022.
