BOZEMAN, Montana, Dec. 8 (TNSOps) -- Montana State University issued the following news release:

Montana's fire season usually ends by October, when autumn rain and early snow tamp the flames. But this year, snow is scarce and temperatures climbed into the 60s in early December across the state.
