ATLANTA, Georgia, Dec. 2 -- The Democratic Party of Georgia issued the following news release on Dec. 1, 2021:
In today's runoff elections for local races statewide, Democratic candidates won at least seven additional seats across Georgia, bringing the total number of seats flipped by Democrats this municipal election cycle to 48.
