NEWPORT, Rhode Island, Nov. 26 -- The Naval Sea Systems Command issued the following news:
"Asco wequassunnummis -- hello -- Kunoopeam ut auke ut Nahahiganseck -- welcome to the lands of the Narragansett," said Silvermoon Mars LaRose, assistant director of the Tomaquag Museum in Exeter, Rhode Island, as she greeted Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport employees to a celebration for National American Indian Heritage Month held on Nov 10.
