ATLANTA, Georgia, Nov. 24 -- The Democratic Party of Georgia issued the following statement:

In response to the verdicts found in the trial for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia, released the following statement.
"These guilty verdicts only confirm what we already know - that Ahmaud Arbery, an innocent Black man, was killed in cold blood for nothing more than jogging while Black. . . .
