A jury in Georgia found Gregory McMichael, Travis McMichael, and William "Roddie" Bryan Jr. guilty of the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA), who represents the district in which the trial was held, commented on the verdict, stating.
"The right to a trial by a jury of your peers is fundame . . .
