HUNTSVILLE, Texas, Nov. 24 (TNSMon) -- Sam Houston State University issued the following news:
Helena Halmari, professor of Linguistics in the Department of English, was named a Texas State University System Regents' Professor, a designation that recognizes faculty whose performance excels in three different areas--research, teaching and service.
Halmari was formally recognized at the November Board of Regents meeting, where she received a $10,000 award, a commemor . . .
