JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Nov. 20 -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news:
Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Jacksonville area added 30,900 new private-sector jobs over the year, a 4.9% increase. Jacksonville's unemployment rate was 3.7% in October 2021, down from 4.3% reported in October 2020.
