KALISPELL, Montana, Nov. 19 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Flathead National Forest - issued the following news release on Nov. 18, 2021:
Flathead National Forest District Ranger Christopher Dowling approved the Dayton Project decision. Root disease, fir engraver, Douglas-fir beetle, and various dwarf mistletoe infestations are among the insects and diseases being addressed by this project using a mix of commercial and non-commercial treatmen . . .
