WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Oklahoma, issued the following news release on Nov. 16, 2021:
Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) highlighted the role nuclear power plays in reducing carbon emissions during a joint Environment and Climate Change and Energy Subcommittee hearing today. Mullin questioned the ability of the United States to achieve net zero emissions in our electricity production without both nuclear power and natural gas being part of the portfolio.
