WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release on Nov. 15, 2021:
U.S. Senators Rob Portman (R-OH) and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) announced that the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) is set to receive $1 billion in new funding as a result of the President signing the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act into law. The Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) includes $5.5 billion in funding to support ecosystems across the country.
