BETHESDA, Maryland, Nov. 17 -- The National Institutes of Health's National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute issued the following news release:
Millions of people in America have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)-the umbrella term for emphysema and chronic bronchitis-and millions more have it and don't know it.
